This policy explains what information Kipper Games collects when you play our games or visit kipper.games, and what we do with it. We have kept it short and plain on purpose.

Who we are

Kipper Games Limited, an Isle of Man company, company number [to follow], 2nd Floor, 10 Prospect Hill, Douglas, IM1 1EJ, Isle of Man. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us at hello@kipper.games.

What our games collect

• Game progress. Your progress and settings (such as sound and music on or off) are saved on your own device. We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email address or location through our games.
• In-app purchases. Purchases are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your card or payment details. The store tells our game that a purchase was made so we can give you what you bought, and it keeps its own record under its own privacy policy.
• Advertising. Some of our games show optional video adverts (for example, to earn a bonus) and occasional short adverts between play. Adverts are provided by a third-party advertising network, which may collect your device’s advertising identifier, IP address and basic device information to show and measure adverts. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time in the game or in your device settings. Buying “Remove ads” turns off the adverts between play.
• Crash and performance data. We may collect anonymous technical information, such as crash reports and how long levels take, to fix bugs and balance the game. This is not used to identify you.

This website

kipper.games is hosted by WordPress.com, which may use cookies and collect standard visitor statistics. If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you.

Children

Our games are designed for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Sharing and keeping information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers named above (app stores, our advertising network and our website host) so they can provide their services, or where the law requires it. We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described here.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, email hello@kipper.games. You also have the right to complain to the Isle of Man Information Commissioner (inforights.im) or your local data protection authority.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
